So you’ve just built yourself a crossbow with which to find wolves and skeletons from afar. Good job, but without any arrows, you won’t be able to actually use the crossbow, so you better get crafting some arrows to make use of that crossbow.
Thankfully, crafting arrows is pretty simple to do, but we’re not sure if you can unlock the recipe for crafting arrows by finding a crossbow out in the wild. To be safe, we’re going to say that you need to craft a crossbow to unlock the arrows recipe. Once you’ve made a crossbow, head over to the crafting table and spend 1 wood and 1 feather to create a set of 8 arrows.
In order to collect the feathers, you’ll need to find chickens while exploring, then pet them by pressing the interact key. Killing chickens will just give you a bit of meat, so make sure to play nice with the chickens.
