LeBron James, arguably the definitive American sportsman of the last two decades, is finally on his way to Fortnite as a skin following plenty of teases. You’ll be able to spend some V-Bucks to get LeBron for yourself, and his release isn’t far away.

“MVP. Global Icon. Gold Medalist. Fresh off teaming up with the Tune Squad, LeBron James brings his legacy to Fortnite’s Icon Series.”

First announced over at fn.gg/LeBron, here’s everything you need to know about LeBron James in Fortnite, including release date, price, and what you can expect.

LeBron James Fortnite Skins

LeBron James will be available in two different outfits: his “real” version and also the one that will be in Space Jam: A New Legacy, which is due for release soon. This means that there will be two different skins, meaning you will have to buy each individually or as part of one large bundle that will cost 1000s of V-Bucks.

Here’s the first option, the LeBron James outfit that has two different styles.

There’s also the option to use a slider to pick exactly how gold you want the skin to be, as you can see below.

Then there’s the second option, the Space Jam outfit mentioned earlier in the form of the Tune Squad LeBron outfit.

Here’s the two variants for the Tune Squad Lebron outfit.

This version of LeBron will also come with the Pack Supreme Back Bling, which you can see in the second image.

The second image is a Taco Tuesday style, seemingly a crossover with Fortnite’s own special taco events. Remember when tacos took over Greasy Grove?

What Other LeBron James Cosmetics Are There?

Here’s what else you can get when LeBron releases:

– The Lion Pickaxe
– Wingspan Glider
– The Silencer Emote
– King’s Bling Back Bling

You will have to complete LeBron James challenges to unlock all the different styles and other cosmetics.

Players can also buy the King James Bundle to get both outfits (four styles in total) as well as all of the extra cosmetics. As a bonus, they will also unlock the Court’s In Session Loading Screen.

It’s unclear whether or not players will also be able to buy this Loading Screen separately, or if it will just be exclusive to the bundle.

Fortnite LeBron James Skins Price

There’s been no details on pricing for the skins released just yet, but based on the prices for all of the other Icon Series skins to date, LeBron should set you back 1500 V-Bucks for one of his outfits.

The King James Bundle should cost you around 2800 V-Bucks to get everything at once, which is around £35/$40 if you have no other V-Bucks in your account already. That’s a crazy amount of money.

Fortnite LeBron James Skins Release Date

Fortnite’s LeBron James skin will be available from Wednesday, July 14th at 8PM ET, presumably for at least a week until it rotates out again.

Fortnite is free-to-play on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Android.
