The Inkquisitor is an NPC boss added in Fortnite to coincide with Fortnitemares 2022 that you can defeat to claim their Mythic weapon, the Inkquisitor’s Suppressed SMG.
Based on a concept skin that’s finally coming to the game as a Fortnite Crew skin, the Inkquisitor can first be found on the map as an NPC. He is one of the toughest NPCs in the game to date and really isn’t recommended for anyone who hasn’t got some friends to help them out.
Here’s how to beat Inkquisitor in Fortnite and get your hands on their Mythic weapon.
Inkquisitor Location
The Inkquisitor is located in Grim Gables, a POI in the north of the map that will suddenly go dark when you’re near it.
The Inkquisitor can be found at the house in Grim Gables on its very bottom floor. You can either find an entrance to this basement around the sides of the house or break through the floor.
Once you land on the bottom floor and approach the summoning circle, Inkquisitor will appear with quite a lot of attacks to throw your way.
How To Beat Inkquisitor
Inkquisitor is one of the hardest bosses ever added to Fortnite and is virtually impossible to defeat if you’re on your own. He uses both Rocket Launchers and Firefly Jars to almost immediately get rid of you, so you want at least one friend to play with you to take him down, though ideally a whole squad. You should also probably try to defeat him in building modes to start off with so you have at least some way of protecting yourself.
The best way to deal with Inkquisitor is to shoot him from as far away as you can. As soon as he’s been summoned, run to the edges of the basement and start shooting. You can more easily dodge his rockets and fire this way, and his Suppressed SMG deals far less damage.
As long as you have strength in numbers, you should be able to dispose of this very tricky boss.

The Inqkuisitor Suppressed SMG works a lot like the normal kind of Suppressed SMG and even has extremely similar stats to the Legendary version.
The appeal of the Inqkuisitor Suppressed SMG is that it works as a solid mid-range SMG compared to something like the Rapid-Fire, which is much better at short distances.
