Alteration Altars are new spots added for Fortnite during the Fortnitemares 2022 event.
These small platforms at certain POIs allow players to perform the Ritual Emote to DJ Lyka and be given the Howler Claws, a new Mythic item added for Fortnitemares 2022.
Alteration Altars, while most abundant at the Reality Tree, can be found across the island. Check out some of the Alteration Altars on the Fortnite map below.
Here are just a few of the places you can find Alteration Altars in Fortnite:
– Lustrous Lagoon
– Reality Tree
– Cloudy Condos
– Flutter Barn
Simply approach an Alteration Altar and press your interact key to start the Ritual Emote, after which you will be given the Howler Claws Mythic.
