Fortnite fans will soon be able to bring the beautiful game in-game with the arrival of the Kickoff Set, the kits of real-life football clubs that will be outfits in Fortnite this January.
This is alongside the news that Pelé’s iconic Air Punch will also be coming to the game, as well as the announcement of the Pelé Cup, which kicks off on January 20th. Competing in the tournament gives you a chance to unlock both the emote and outfits for free.

It’s interesting that Liverpool haven’t been included as part of the Kickoff Set as they have their own emote in the game. Fascinating that West Ham (yes, West Ham) are the only London club to be featured as well.
When Does The Kickoff Set Release?
Players will be able to buy the Kickoff Set in-game on January 23rd, 2021. There’s no indication on price, but based on the cost of the superhero skins, the Kickoff Set should cost you 1500 V-Bucks at most.
This set has been a long time coming, especially since the unofficial soccer skins are basically a part of Fortnite lore at this point, as well as the fact that we’ve seen NFL skins being released in the past. Just cannot wrap my head around West Ham being chosen to represent London. I need angry David Moyes as a back bling.
