Fortnite: Destroy Collector Cases At The Collection

The only challenge in a collection of challenges worth covering.

Collector Cases

Fortnite’s been getting more and more Marvel locations appearing in-game as the weeks have progressed, and Week 4 asks you to visit one of those new spots — and then smash it up.

For this week’s challenges, you’re tasked with the challenge to Destroy Collector Cases At The Collection. While this might be very confusing for anyone who hasn’t regularly been playing Fortnite, it’s still a straightforward challenge.

Here, then, is the complete lowdown on how to Destroy Collector Cases At The Collection in Fortnite.

The Collection Location

The Collection itself, which is a The Collector inspired POI, was added in Week 3 of Season 4.

It’s situated a little out of the way, atop a snowy mountain in H6 on the grid.  It’s to the south of Retail Row and the west of Catty Corner, though it’s almost never as popular as those two spots.

As for the actual challenge, well, it’s not really a challenge.

Simply drop at The Collection and then start pickaxing all of the cases until you complete the challenge.

Each case has some kind of Fortnite relic in it that calls back to previous seasons, so there’s a nice bit of nostalgia here for fans. You can also find a gold coin that will give you additional XP here.

Video Guide

Once you have destroyed all of the Collector Cases you need, you will unlock 25,000 XP to put towards your Battle Pass progress.

This is probably the only main challenge this week that requires any kind of pointers. Fortnite is in a comfortable pattern these days of asking you to search chests and eliminate players, so it’s nice to have a treasure hunt-esque challenge for a change.

Fortnite: Chapter 2 – Season 4 is free-to-play on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Android.
