NOTE: not to be confused with Love Is In The Air, the second Creative Mayhem event in Fortnite.
To put a bit more focus on the non-BR side of things, Epic have just launched Creative Mayhem: a map that will give you free rewards for clocking the highest rewards and beating it in the fastest time. Better yet, if you are among the very best, you will have the chance to play alongside your favourite content creators.
From now until May 11 at 9am ET, you’ll be able to grind out your best times on the Creative Mayhem map in a deathrun to the finish that will no doubt push the community to the limit. And there’s also free rewards just for signing up, so you get stuff for basically nothing.
Here’s everything you should know about Creative Mayhem in Fortnite.
How To Sign Up For Creative Mayhem
First off, you have to sign up to officially take part over at creativemayhem.fortnite.com. You’ll just need your Epic Games account details and you will be good to go.
While there, select your favourite creator (Lachlan, Muselk and Nick Eh 30 are just a few of them), who you may have a chance to compete against at a later date.
With that all done, it’s time to play the map. Head on over to Creative and enter this code: 1994-6642-9073. Record your best run and then upload it to YouTube. Go back to the official website and share your video to submit your time.
If you qualify, you will then be invited to take part in qualifiers on the following dates:
May 21 – 22: France, Poland, Germany, Italy
May 26 – 27: Russia, Middle East, Spain, North America
May 31 – June 1: South America, Brazil, Australia, Korea
Whoever comes out on top in these qualifiers will then proceed to the Global Finals on June 5th with a grand total of $264,000 up for grabs.
Fortnite Creative Mayhem Rewards
You will earn the Golden Flopper Spray just for signing up to take part in Creative Mayhem. If you play the map for 30 minutes, you will also unlock the Piranhas Pickaxe.
Both of these items may come to the Item Shop at a later date and aren’t exclusive to those taking part in Mayhem.
Fortnite is free-to-play on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Android.
