As the first part of what is expected to be a whole bunch of Avatar cosmetics releasing during Chapter 5 – Season 2, Korra will be dropping into Fortnite as the season’s “secret” skin. While not really a secret as such, it’s an old school way of saying the bonus crossover skin for a Fortnite season that still sticks after all these years.
If you’re gutted that Korra’s own game got delisted, you will be pleased to know that you can play as Korra in Fortnite simply by purchasing the Fortnite: Chapter 5 – Season 2 for 950 V-Bucks (around £6.99/$8.99) or with a subscription to Fortnite Crew, the game’s monthly subscription service that gives you the current Battle Pass, 1000 V-Bucks, and an exclusive skin every month.
Once you’ve purchased the Battle Pass, you will then have to wait until special quests become available, as is the case with every crossover skin in the Battle Pass (like Solid Snake). The release date of these quests is not yet available, but it should be roughly halfway through the season, which ends in May. Complete those quests to unlock all of Korra’s cosmetics in Fortnite.
Korra Fortnite Cosmetics
So far, just the one style for Korra has been revealed, as you can see above. It’s her rather basic usual outfit, but we wouldn’t be surprised if her more “snowy” attire gets added too.
And, of course, Korra will also come with a Lego style.
Korra will also get a mythic later that seems to focus on her water-bending abilities at some point in the season, which you can see in action down below,

Once we have a closer look at all of the stuff coming alongside Korra, you will be the first to know.
Will Korra Come to the Item Shop?
If you don’t want the Battle Pass, you may be hoping to get Korra in the Item Shop. However, while this is as yet unconfirmed, Korra is very unlikely to come to the Item Shop after being in the Battle Pass — at least in this guise.
Once a season is finished, players cannot go back and unlock old Battle Pass skins that they haven’t already. It’s a bit of FOMO marketing that works wonders for Epic, but does lead to frustration for newer players who can’t just buy skins for their favorite characters as they were restricted to a certain Battle Pass. However, there’s every chance that Epic may release a different version of Korra in the Item Shop, just not this specific one.
About Korra
Korra is the protagonist of The Legend of Korra, which is a sequel to the animated television series Avatar: The Last Airbender. The Legend of Korra aired on Nickelodeon from 2012 to 2014 and continued the story of the Avatar world, focusing on the next Avatar in the cycle after Aang, the protagonist of the original series. While not nearly as popular, it still has its fans, and those fans are going to love seeing her in Fortnite.
Fortnite is free-to-play on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, iOS and Android.
