Following hot on the heels of the super popular TMNT crossover, we’re about to have yet another beloved cartoon make its way onto the Fortnite island. Early leaks have shown that Avatar: The Last Airbender, often revered as one of the best American animation series ever, will also be dropping in the game.
Avatar, which has also recently received the rather polarising live-action treatment on Netflix, has been found way ahead of time in the game’s API, with text hinting that a mid-season event will be taking place between Fortnite and the show. If it feels like there’s a lot going on with Avatar right now, it’s because there’s three new series and a couple of movies in the pipeline as well — it’s a pretty good time to be in the Aang Clan.
Speaking of time, if you’re looking forward to playing as the cast of Avatar in Fortnite, here’s everything you need to know about when it will drop and what you can expect in general.

As of right now, the crossover isn’t actually confirmed, but dataminers have found the event being mentioned within the game’s API, though those mentions have since been scrubbed:

Currently, it seems like Appa will be a glider and the main protagonist Aang will also be coming to the game as a skin. However, we don’t yet have a look at them in-game, or who else will be dropping as a skin. We’d expect Zuko and maybe Katara to also release as part of the event at the same time.
Fortnite x Avatar: The Last Airbender Skin Prices
It seems like the upcoming Avatar collab will be very similar to the TMNT one, in that it will be a mini-event. In a mini-event, players can earn free rewards simply by completing quests, and premium rewards by purchasing an Event Pass. The premium track of this Event Pass will most likely have an Avatar skin or two along with other Avatar cosmetics, and should cost around 1800 V-Bucks.
Other skins will also more than likely release in the Fortnite Item Shop alongside the Event Pass, and should cost at least 1500 V-Bucks with bundles likely going for 2000+ V-Bucks.
Fortnite x Avatar: The Last Airbender Skin Release Dates
There’s no confirmed release date for the Avatar crossover event, but it will likely land during Fortnite: Chapter 5 – Season 2, which is due to begin on March 8th, 2024, and will follow a Greek mythology theme. The leak suggests that the event will conclude sometime in May, but this is subject to change.
