Fortnite: Chapter 4 – Season 2 Victory Umbrella Revealed (Mega-Brella)

It wouldn’t be a new season of Fortnite without some kind of new Victory Umbrella, and Season 4 – Chapter 2 is certainly no exception to that. Even those who don’t play Fortnite all that regularly anymore love to log-on and claim their Victory Umbrella on day one of a season. As always, the Victory Umbrella is a reward that all players can earn totally for free.

Here’s the new Victory Umbrella for Fortnite: Chapter 4 – Season 2, known as Mega-Brella:

A pretty cool Victory Umbrella, all told, especially as it ties in with the season’s theme of a futuristic Tokyo. Those cherry blossoms are a real nice touch, but what’s even nicer is that this cosmetic is totally free.

How To Earn The Fortnite: Chapter 4 – Season 2 Umbrella

The method for unlocking the Victory Umbrella is still the same as it always has been ever since the early days of Chapter 1 – Season 1: win a classic match of Fortnite in one of the game’s core modes, including Solos, Duos, Trios and Squads.

It’s worth reiterating that players will not earn the Victory Umbrella for playing some LTM or a Creative game mode. You need to obtain the win in an official Fortnite game mode, so basically the original experience developed by Epic Games.

At the start of the Season, you might be struggling to grab that win and the all important Victory Umbrella, as that’s usually when a season is the most competitive, but there’s a trick that’s been around for a while which should be just as effective in Chapter 4 – Season 2. If you invite an account who has a very low account level to join you, then make them party leader, you should join a game with easy AI opponents. Mop up the cannon fodder and the Victory Umbrella will be yours.

Fortnite is free-to-play on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Android.
