The official Fortnite TikTok account has accidentally shared a first glimpse at the upcoming Chapter 3 early on their TikTok account.
The video, which was posted as an ad and found by @cooper17571967, doesn’t show a great deal of the new chapter, but it does seem to corroborate what’s been teased before by content creators, including a new map.

In the ad, the start of Chapter 2 plays before we get the briefest of glimpses at a Jonesy skin controlled by the player (so not the actual Jonesy) behind what looks like The Foundation, who are quickly washed away by what looks like some kind of exploding device.
Then, a Jonesy skin is seen in the ocean gazing out at the island on an axis, as well as what looks like alien technology in the sky. It also seems that the Cube Queen is still suspended in the orb that she is right now, as an orb of some kind with a figure in its hits the ocean and explodes.
The video concludes with the island flipping onto its other side, almost definitely confirming a new map, before a tidal wave washes over the Jonesy skin.
Previously, creators like SypherPK have used the sign-off “catch you on the flip side” when talking about Chapter 3 in videos to suggest that they know what’s going down. Now that this video has leaked on TikTok, it appears as if they were in the know all along.
When Does Chapter 3 Start?
If you can’t wait to see more of what’s seen in this TikTok leak, you can find out your answers before too long.
The End event will close out Chapter 2 on December 4th, with Fortnite then going into extended downtime before Chapter 3 launches. It’s unclear just how long this downtime will be as while it was believed that it’d last a couple of days like the previous chapter launch, a new skin, the Robo-Kevin Pack, is scheduled to launch on December 5th.
You can almost certainly expect The Foundation to play a huge part in the event and new season as not only did he seem to feature in this leak, but The Rock, whose portrayal of The Foundation is pretty much an open secret at this point, posted a video of himself drinking his energy drink after taking it from a fridge that also contained The Foundation’s helmet.
It’s an ad within an ad, they’ll never see it coming.
Fortnite is free-to-play on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Android.
