Fortnite: Brutus’ Minigun Stats & Location

Introduced in Fortnite v12.00, Brutus’ Minigun is one of five Mythic weapons added for the start of Chapter 2: Season 2.

A stronger variation on the Minigun, which itself was reintroduced to the loot pool at the start of the season, only one of Brutus’ Minigun spawns per match.

Brutus’ Minigun is the Mythic variety of the regular Minigun, which you can find in Legendary and Epic forms. Brutus’ Minigun is exceptionally good at destroying builds, and when you combine it with a Rocket Launcher, the opposition almost has no chance.

 

Brutus’ Minigun Location

To track down Brutus’ Minigun, head on over to The Grotto POI, one of the new locations for Season 2 of Fortnite’s second chapter. The Grotto is an underground base of sorts with plenty of rooms and a turbine to use to get back to the top level.

To get Brutus’ Minigun, you must eliminate the man himself — or eliminate another player who holds it, of course. He is usually found patrolling around the main building and has roughly 300 health, just like the other Fortnite bosses. If you want to unlock the Brutus skin, he is tier 20 on the Season 2 Battle Pass. Be careful: his Minigun can absolutely shred you, and there are other players and also Henchmen to worry about.

Once you’ve eliminated Brutus, you can pick up Brutus’ Minigun as well as a keycard that will grant you access to the vault within The Grotto.
