Final Fantasy XIII Trilogy Will Be Backwards Compatible

Final Fantasy XIII

If you’ve got a spare couple of hundred hours to kill, or you just don’t think there’s enough Final Fantasy available on the Xbox One, Square Enix have your back. It was announced that the Final Fantasy XIII trilogy will be going backwards compatible on the Xbox One next week.

The trilogy includes Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy XIII-2 and Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, and chronicles the full story of Lightning. It’s never been considered one of the best Final Fantasy games, but it should tide you over before Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy X launch on the Xbox One, and they should tide you over before FF 7 Remake.
