Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered To Receive A Lite Version

It's a free demo version, with some interesting perks.

Crystal Chronicles

Square Enix have announced that Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered will receive a free demo “Lite” version on Nintendo Switch, PS4, Android and iOS devices. The news was announced via a new trailer, which you can check out for yourself below if you like.

The Lite version will allow players to experience the first three dungeons of Crystal Chronicles, either by themselves or via online play with cross-play functionality. Players who own the full version of the game can also host players from the Lite version, meaning so long as one player owns the full version, Lite players can experience the game’s 13 dungeons. Naturally, if you purchase the full version, your progress will carry over.

The trailer also details other gameplay improvements present in the remaster, including a quick chat feature for online multiplayer, a magic timer for attack synchronisation and a mimic feature that allows players to imitate characters they encounter on their journey. There’s also additional difficulty modes and additional high-level dungeons to enjoy after completing the main game. Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition launches on August 27th for PS4, Nintendo Switch and mobile devices. Will you check it out? Sound off in the comments.
