Final Fantasy 7 Remake Seemingly Heading To PC

After timed exclusivity ends, of course.

It’s been no secret that Final Fantasy 7 Remake, which has launched today, will be exclusive to the PS4 for a year, but Square Enix haven’t revealed where the game will be heading once that exclusivity ends. However, a recent video from producer Yoshinori Kitase featured footage with the disclaimer “gameplay captured on PC”. Check it out below.

This doesn’t necessarily confirm that that Final Fantasy 7 Remake will be heading to PC when the exclusivity ends, as all games are made via PC, and the disclaimer can be helpful when stopping anyone who buys the game on PS4 declaring the final product to have been downgraded.

That said, Square Enix have been usually pretty decent at bringing their own games to PC, so it stands to reason that we’ll see Final Fantasy 7 Remake on PC, whether through Steam, the Epic Games Store or whatever other launcher becomes available in the next year. The real question is if we’ll see the remake on Xbox, but considering Square’s dedication to bringing their IP to the green brand, including old Final Fantasy remasters and the Kingdom Hearts series, it’s a possibility.
