Yeah, we’re here talking about another battle royale game, but stick with us here. Fear The Wolves sounds like it should be on radar. Created by Vostok Games, comprised of former developers responsible for the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series, it’s been announced that Fear The Wolves will be arriving onto Steam Early Access on July 18th.
Though it contains a lot of the core aspects of a battle royale game, such as 100 players dropping into the same map, Fear The Wolves introduces some new features into the mix. For instance, players will also have to contend with AI controlled mutant enemies and a hostile environment. You’ll need gas masks to explore the irradiated ruins of Chernobyl, after all.
Perhaps the most interesting change is that players will only win the game if they manage to make it to an extraction helicopter. If you want to see more about how the game will look in action, check out the E3 trailer below.
