Far Cry 3’s Vaas Actor Michael Mando Teases Return To Role

The definition of insanity.

Far Cry Vaas

Everyone remembers that one of the stand-out highlights of Far Cry 3 was Michael Mando’s portrayal of the villainous Vaas, a role that led to the actor appearing in big works like Orphan Black, Better Call Saul and Spider-Man: Homecoming. However, it would appear he’s not yet done with the character.

In a Reddit Ask Me Anything thread, Mando replied to a fan asking whether the actor still gets recognised for his work as Vaas: “Vaas is my spirit animal – having co-created that character is something that will always be dear to me. I still get recognized as Vaas, and I still feel the outpouring of love for that character – makes me very happy. Who knows… maybe I will reprise the role very soon? :p Thank you for watching xo”.

While it’s likely we’ll be seeing Ubisoft return to the Far Cry series at some point in the future, it’s unclear how Michael Mando’s role as Vaas will factor into that. Perhaps we’ll be seeing a Far Cry 3 spin-off/sequel, or even perhaps a movie retelling that’s hopefully better than the crap Uwe Boll version that went straight to DVD. It’s either that, or Mando is a bit of troll and just wanted to stir some rumours.
