FAR: Changing Tides Launching March 1st, Coming To Game Pass

The tides are changing.

FAR: Changing Tides

Frontier Foundry and Okomotive have announced that FAR: Changing Tides, the sequel to 2018’s FAR: Lone Sails, will be launching on PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store and the Windows Store, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and Nintendo Switch. It’ll even be coming to Xbox Game Pass at launch, which is very nice. Pre-orders are live now for all platforms (aside from the Switch, which will launch pre-orders in February), and you can check out the pre-order trailer right now at the top of the page.

What Is FAR: Changing Tides All About?

FAR: Changing Tides sees players taking on the role of Toe, a young boy who’s unfortunately stranded alone in a flooded, post-apocalyptic world. While that sounds like a bit of a nightmare scenario, Toe is also able to explore this world at the helm of a unique ship, which will help the lad as he attempts to solve puzzles and find his way home from both above and below the waves.

What If I Can’t Wait Until March?

If you’re really struggling to wait until March 1st to experience the world of FAR: Changing Tides for yourself, Okomotive have put out some lo-fi soundtrack videos, dubbed “Soundwaves”, which offer two hours of meditative videos using in-game assets. You can experience the first one, Above, right here.
