Bethesda have recently released the Wastelanders update for Fallout 76, adding a host of highly requested features to the game, including NPCs and their subsequent questlines, factions and companions. You know, traditional Fallout features.
Still, Bethesda seem to be taking the No Man’s Sky approach to improving the game, refusing to rest on their laurels by adding more and more content to the game. In a recent Reddit AMA, Bethesda developers Jeff Gardiner and Ferret Baudoin revealed that they’re currently planning on adding features like pets to the game: “Now that we have our companions system in the game, we are looking to add pets as well.”
Throughout the rest of the AMA, the developers state that they’ll be sharing a roadmap soon that includes content for the entire year. Other interesting tidbits include some improvements to player camps, the ability to change the costumes your companion wears, and some hints that the Brotherhood of Steel are on the way.
