Epic Games Announce Fortnite NFL Skins Coming To The Item Shop

Fortnite NFL

In a bizarre twist of marketing, Epic Games have revealed that Fortnite will be collaborating with the NFL to release new skins this month.

The NFL-themed skins run the gamut of 32 different teams and will also include a Fortnite specific team, which means that you will only have to buy the one skin and then can swap it to any team that you like. You will additionally also be able to choose any number between 0 and 99 for the back of your jersey.

You can check out the trailer for it below.

There’s no details on the rarity or price of these items, but the Fortnite NFL skins will be available from November 9 at 7PM ET until an unspecified date. This isn’t the first sport-themed crossover in Fortnite with the game also having special real-not-American-football skins to coincide with the World Cup.

Truthfully, I misread the trailer headline and thought it was a collaboration between Fortnite and Vince McMahon’s XFL, which would have made them a must-buy for me personally. Maybe one day.
