After the massive news last night regarding The Hardys being included as part of this year’s DLC package, 2K are dedicating today to revealing the rest of the 2K18 DLC roster. Yesterday I made the natural prediction of Elias Samson being included as part of the rising stars pack, low and behold he is our first of two confirmed spots so far.
Elias was a strange name to be left out of the base roster, considering he has had a prominent role on NXT dating back at least a year. Elias is certainly becoming a popular act amongst the more smarky crowds, so I’m sure he’ll be a popular choice for mid-card championships in Universe Modes.
Alongside ‘The Drifter’ is NXT’s Ruby Riot. A surprising inclusion, considering she has been somewhat meandering in amongst the women’s division, but a welcome one nonetheless. The women’s roster has always felt a little weak in comparison to the wealth of the gents, so it’s nice to see a few more names finding a place in this years game.
