EA Reveal Star Wars Battlefront 2 Deluxe Edition Details and Pre-Order Bonuses

Battlefront 2

In a move that looks like it’s taken a leaf right out of the Titanfall 2 book of respecting your audience, EA and DICE have surprisingly announced that the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront 2 won’t be coming with a Season Pass to the delight of everyone who is alive.

But there are still some bonuses you can buy on top of the base game. The Deluxe Edition, which seems to be a title that many souped-up versions of games don’t deserve, will give you the following:

– Elite Officer upgrade pack – The Blurrg-1120 blaster plus enhanced grip modification and the Battle Command epic ability.
– Heavy Metal upgrade pack – The FWMB-10 “Megablaster” and barrel vent modification and the Personal Shield epic ability.
– Armored Assault upgrade pack – The CR-2 (with a trigger modification) and the Grenade epic ability.
– Master Specialist upgrade ability – The A280-CFE blaster rifle and scope modification and the Laser Trip Mine epic ability.

As well as that, the Elite Trooper deluxe edition allows you to play the game three days earlier than everyone else on November 14th. There’s no news on whether Battlefront 2 will be getting a trial on EA Access just yet, as they did for Mass Effect: Andromeda.

If you pre-order, you will also receive The Last Jedi-themed appearances for Kylo Ren and Rey, along with ability modifiers for both and a couple of ships, including the Millennium Falcon.
