EA FC 24: When Does The First Weekend League Start?
Although the community expected the first Weekend League on October 6, as it’s the first Friday after the game’s release on September 29, it’s not — the first Weekend League in EA FC 24 starts on Friday, September 29, at 9:00 AM.
That means that if you haven’t pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition of EA FC 24, qualifying for the finals will be extremely difficult, as you first must collect 1,250 Qualification Points in Rivals and then survive ten matches in qualifications.
Players with Ultimate Edition are at an advantage and may have a better chance to participate in the first Weekend League, as they have more time to create the first squad and collect Qualification Points.
But don’t get disappointed. EA Sports may give every player 1,250 Qualification Points like they’ve been doing with the latest Weekend Leagues in FIFA 23, providing access to qualifications for every player. Doing so will drop the skill gap in the first Weekend League, which might upset players who purchased Ultimate Edition.
