Koei Tecmo America announced on Monday that Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends Definitive Edition will be available on the Nintendo Switch via digital download starting December 27th, 2018. This will be the first time a main series Dynasty Warriors game will arrive on Nintendo’s portable console.
The legends of the kingdoms of Shu, Wu, Wei, and Jin will be retold as they wage war for control of Three Kingdoms China. The Definitive Edition will be a combination of the original Dynasty Warriors 8 and Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends along with all DLC including costumes and side-story scenarios. In addition, players will receive special bonus costumes if they have save data for the recently released Warriors Orochi 4.
Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends Definitive Edition will launch on the Nintendo eShop for $39.99. Purchases made the first week post-launch will also receive a 10 percent discount.
