Dying Light 2’s Release Date Reveal Looks Like It Will Happen This Thursday

Dying 2 know.

Dying Light 2

If you’ve been wondering where the heck Dying Light 2 is and what its release date will be, your wait might finally be over.

Techland recently sent out a bunch of packages to press an influencers, a puzzle within a poster tube. Even we got one, which we solved thanks to a handy UV torch contraption and invisible ink. You can check out the unboxing for yourself above.

Following the clues left in invisible ink, it seems that Dying Light 2 will get another reveal over at twitch.tv/techland on on May 27th at 9PM EST. This will almost certainly be a closer look at the game with potentially new gameplay to boot, but most people will probably be after a Dying Light 2 release date as well.

Dying Light 2 was first announced at E3 2018 (wow, that feels like a century ago) with intermittent updates since. Techland, the game’s developers, have been promising more updates to come after periods of long silence, including when we will be able to play the game on PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox One.

You should really play the first game before that, though. It’s like pennies these days and is also very good game, not just because you can dropkick zombies off of roofs.
