Dragon Quest XI Coming To The Nintendo Switch

And it's got a bloody complicated name to boot.

Dragon Quest XI

Tonight’s Nintendo Direct was pretty decent for fans of Japanese RPGs, with plenty of announcements to sift through. For those who aren’t too fussed about the Final Fantasy IX announcement, perhaps you’d be pleased to know that Dragon Quest XI is coming to the Switch, and it’s got a bloody complicated name to boot.

Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition, to give it its full mouthful of a title, takes what was considered by many to be the best entry in the franchise and augments it with new character specific storylines, the ability to switch from 3D to 16-bit visuals and the option to increase battle speed, which will be great for when you’re grinding out XP while on the daily commute. Check out the trailer for yourself below, and let us know how excited you are in the comments.
