In what can only be seen as the only good news of 2020 so far, Devolver Digital have announced that they’re bringing back their iconic digital showcases for this year, marking the fourth year in a row they’ll be presenting an E3-like event. The team are aiming for a mid-July release, and the news was confirmed on Twitter over the weekend.
Devolver Direct 2020 will be mid July if all goes well with production.
This year will have some updates + release dates on upcoming games and a couple of new games to reveal – all with gameplay.

Normally, Devolver’s showcases would form part of the E3 schedule, with their conference running alongside fellow publishers such as Ubisoft, Bethesda and more. Previous events have led to the reveal of games like Metal Wolf Chaos XD, and they’re always worth checking out, even if it’s more for the madcap antics than anything else.
Devolver’s tweet reveals that we should expect to see updates and release dates for some currently announced games at the Direct, along with the reveals of some brand new games to boot. Given Devolver’s reputation, literally anything could happen/be announced, so be sure to leave your best prediction in the comments.
