Danny Dyer Is In Rage 2 Because Why The Hell Not I Guess

Rage 2

Here’s the perfect Friday news story for you: cockney “hardman” and actor Danny Dyer will be appearing in Rage 2 as a cheat code. Well, his voice will be, which is arguably his best quality. The cheat code, called Diamond Geezer, is similar to the recently announced NBA Jam announcer voice pack. Check out the trailer for yourself below, and try your best to understand the thought process behind this one, because I have no answers.

Danny Dyer himself is no stranger to video game voice over work, appearing as Kent Paul in GTA: Vice City and San Andreas, but he’s perhaps best known in the UK for being a bit of a tit. Currently, his most famous work is appearing in Eastenders, but he had a decent leading role in horror comedy Severance, which doesn’t get the love it deserves.

Personally, I’m not going to use this cheat code, largely because I think it’s an injustice that actual cockney hardman Ross Kemp didn’t get the role. That said, he did call former Prime Minister David Cameron a twat, so maybe Danny Dyer isn’t all that bad. Rage 2 is out on May 14th on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Will you be picking it up on launch? Let us know in the comments.
