Daniel Bryan will be taking part in the 50 man Royal Rumble match at the upcoming Greatest Royal Rumble event in Saudi Arabia.
WWE confirmed on Monday morning that Bryan, recently cleared as medically fit to wrestle and return to the ring at this Sunday’s WrestleMania, is to appear in the monolithic match that will most likely headline the company’s most ambitious overseas extravaganza to date.
Also confirmed alongside Bryan are Bray Wyatt, Kane, Big Show and Braun Strowman.
Bryan’s imminent return to in-ring action has jolted fans into excitement, as the former WWE Champion is set to team with fellow SmackDown Live GM Shane McMahon to take on the duo of Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn in New Orleans on April 8.
In addition to the first ever, 50 man Greatest Royal Rumble match, the event, taking place at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in the city of Jeddah, will feature John Cena vs. Triple H, seven championship matches, the return of the Hardy Boyz and a three-way Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match between Seth Rollins vs. Finn Bálor vs. The Miz vs. Samoa Joe.
The Greatest Royal Rumble will air exclusively on WWE Network on Friday April 27.
