John Cena and Triple H are set to face each other one-on-one for the first time since 2010 at the Greatest Royal Rumble.

The supershow, taking place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, will find the two superstars – sporting thirty world titles between them – duking it out at one of WWE’s most ambitious events to date.

Also confirmed for the April 27 showcase at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium is a four-way ladder match for the Intercontinental Championship between The Miz, Samoa Joe, Finn Balor and Seth Rollins.

The Hardy Boyz will make their way to the ring as a duo for the first time since September 2017 to take on Sheamus and Cesaro for the RAW Tag Team Championships.

All seven male championships will be on the line on the night, finally culminating in a 50 man over the top rope Royal Rumble; the largest in the company’s history.

There are as yet no women’s matches scheduled for Saudi Arabia; an issue that has raised the ire of a section of wrestling fans.

The first encounter between Cena and Triple H in just under a decade will pique fan interest worldwide. The two have clashed multiple times in their careers, with Cena making Triple H tap out to win the WWE Championship in the main event of WrestleMania 22.

The event has been organised in conjunction with the Saudi General Sports Authority and their drive to make Saudi Arabia a more attractive proposition to tourists and businesses.

According to the statement on WWE’s website, the event may well be the first of many to take place in Kingdom.
