The second Royal Rumble event of the year just got even bigger. Not only will Saudi Arabian fans be treated to the ‘Greatest Royal Rumble’ with over 50 of WWE’s top superstars, but the event shall also feature a staggering seven championship bouts. I can already hear Maggle likening this live event to WrestleMania.
It was announced via WWE’s corporate website that the following titles will be defended on Friday, April 27th:
– WWE Universal Championship
– WWE Championship
– Intercontinental Championship
– United States Championship
– Raw & Smackdown Tag Championships
– Cruserweight Championship
Considering that most of the annual pay-per-views struggle to find time to feature the majority of their champions on one single card, this is impressive stuff and reason to look forward to the rumoured broadcast on the WWE Network.
It wouldn’t surprise me if we saw at least one title change at this event, considering how much WWE are catering to Turki Ah Sheikh with this massive event.
