Cyberpunk 2077 Will Be At E3 This Year

Maybe we'll actually get a smegging release date.

Cyberpunk 2077

CD Projekt Red have confirmed on Twitter that their long anticipated sci-fi shooter Cyberpunk 2077 will be making an appearance at this year’s E3, unlike Sony who famously decided to give things a miss this year. Maybe it’s because they couldn’t build another church and hire a Japanese band like they did last year. Check out the tweet from the official Cyberpunk 2077 account below.

Short and sweet. First announced back in 2012, a teaser trailer for Cyberpunk 2077 was revealed in early 2013 but it wasn’t until last year’s E3, with the impressive second trailer shown during the end of the Xbox Media Briefing, that Cyberpunk 2077 really got put on the map. With no release date confirmed as of yet, we do have a decent look at what the gameplay is like thanks to a 48 minute gameplay walkthrough. Still, we’ve got our fingers crossed that E3 2019 will be where CD Projekt Red finally announce a god damn release date.

In the meantime, you could always just replay The Witcher 3 – Wild Hunt. And by replay, we mean “get distracted by Gwent” for the millionth time. Cyberpunk 2077 is in development for PS4, Xbox One and PC. How excited are you? Sound off in the comments below.
