CTR Nitro-Fueled Sewer Speedway Shortcut Guide | Half-Pipe Karting Trophy/Achievement

Hold your nose.

CTR Sewer Speedway

Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is a challenging game, one that asks you to forget a lot of what Mario Kart and even the original CTR taught you. However, you can help yourself by learning the tracks, with the Sewer Speedway shortcut being one of the best to give you a quick leg-up on the competition.

If you follow this guide, you will also get the Half-Pipe Karting trophy for PS4 or achievement for Xbox One. You get a trophy/achievement for finding all of the game’s shortcuts, so that’s definitely something to work towards.

The Sewer Speedway shortcut can be found fairly early on in the track, just as you’re getting into its biggest area. Here’s a gif of it in action.

Actually getting up there is a bit tricky, however. I would recommend that you choose a racer with high acceleration, such as Coco, who can get to top speed faster. You need to time it perfectly, too, so make sure you jump right as you hit the “lip”.

Once you make your way up to the top, the Half-Pipe Karting trophy/achievement should pop, and you can continue to rip around corners to your heart’s content. It’s a definite shortcut that gives you a significant gap over the competition, so don’t overlook it.

As always, I would recommend jumping into Time Trial for this shortcut if you simply want to get the shortcut in a hurry.

Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is out now for PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. From our review:

While its initially harsh difficulty may ruin your happy memories of the original in a hurry, Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is kart racing nirvana with an abundance of content to dive into that makes it more than just an exercise in nostalgia.
