Are you ready to nostalgia? Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, the current-gen remake of the PS1 classic, is out today on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
All of the original content has been brought over to this generation: but players can also look forward to a tonne of post-launch content from developers Beenox, which includes a Grand Prix mode, new characters (including Spyro), new tracks, and more. Current modes include Adventure mode, trophy race, boss challenge, CTR challenge, relic race, and arcade events.
Oh, and don’t forget that online multiplayer is a thing now too because, you know, technology is a bit different than it was twenty years ago.
CTR Nitro-Fueled has been met with critical acclaim from reviewers with it getting some beefy scores on Metacritic, above 80 for each platform. It has an 85 on PS4 and Xbox One, but not enough reviews on Switch just yet, though the two it already has are very positive.
