In the update, Crytek state that they need to delay the launch and trailer reveal by a few weeks in order to ensure they deliver a high-quality game. While the core features of the game are set in stone, the team will be looking at polishing the game based on the feedback the leak received, both good and bad.
A full gameplay reveal was set for today, with a leaked release date on all platforms (PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch) of July 23rd. Today’s delay pushes the timeline back to a mid to late July trailer premiere, followed by the game’s launch in August. We’ll see in the coming weeks how this delay affects Crysis Remastered.
