It was announced via Nintendo Direct that the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy will be making the jump to Nintendo Switch on July 10th 2018. It’s also been confirmed that Crash will also be making his way to PC and Xbox One on the same date, which is going to earn so much money for Naughty Dog and Vicarious Visions.

Unfortunately, no one seems to be addressing the short sighted nature of the Nintendo Switch announcement. Think about it. You’re enjoying Crash 1 whilst on the train to work, when suddenly, you’re find yourself playing the notoriously tricky level The High Road. In an instant, things aren’t quite sunshine and roses, and before long, commuters have to duck and cover as you throw your Joy-Cons halfway down the carriage. I’m telling you, it’ll be Anarchy in the UK all over again.

Like the PS4 version that came out in the middle of last year, the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy will include the first three Crash games with updated visuals and whatnot. Whether this means that the popular Bandicoot will be joining the weird squid kid from Splatoon in Super Smash Bros is unknown at this time, largely because it’s a rumour I started. (#Crash4Smash)
