CD Projekt Red Share New Switcher 3 Screens

Sorry, that's its name now.

The Witcher tenth anniversary

While we continue to wonder what kind of wizardry is going on to bring The Witcher 3 to Switch (a game that chugged a little on its PS4 and Xbox One brethren), we have been treated to some new screens by CD Projekt Red.

Shared on social media, they depict a few of the game’s iconic characters in pared-down but still impressive resolution.

First up, Geralt looking like his beautiful self.

Next is Yennefer, who is probably thinking about that unicorn again.

Ciri isn’t too far behind, looking extremely stressed out.

And the Wild Hunt itself from what looks like the beginning of the game if my memory serves me right.

Nintendo have also shared a hands-on gameplay session video from Gamescom. It’s definitely not as crisp visually, but it’s better than any of us could have expected.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt launches on October 15th with porting duties being shared between CD Projekt Red and Saber Interactive, who you might remember as the guys behind the silly fun of World War Z.

This version of the game will come with the regular version and all of its DLC, which includes the meaty Blood and Wine and the not quite as meaty but still significantly big Hearts of Stone. As a nice little bonus, it will come with the nineteen pieces of free DLC, too.
