The mad lads over at CD Projekt Red only went and did the seemingly impossible when they announced that The Witcher 3 would be coming to the Switch. Well, not just them apparently: Saber Interactive are working closely with CDPR on the port, presumably because CDPR are extremely busy with Cyberpunk 2077.
The collaboration was announced on Twitter.
The game is being ported to Nintendo Switch by Saber Interactive in close cooperation with CD PROJEKT RED.
And yes, both physical and digital release, check out https://t.co/kLHLBD62pp for details soon ;)

You may be familiar with Saber Interactive for their work on the actually-surprisingly-great-fun World War Z, as well as the less great Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn. They are also remastering Ghostbusters for later in the year.
Along with that confirmation, CDPR also mentioned on Twitter that the game will run at 540p while handheld and 720p while docked with the added benefit of dynamic resolution. No news on framerates yet, but it’s hard to imagine it consistently hitting 30fps. Let’s just wait and see, though.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition will also feature all post-launch content for The Witcher 3, including its two meaty expansions and the 16 smaller DLCs CDPR released on a lark.
No confirmed release date just yet, but it’s due sometime in 2019.
