Season 3 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare starts today, bringing with it a huge amount of new content and updates to both Modern Warfare and Warzone. You can check out the majority of new content in the video below.

The main addition comes to Warzone, as Season 3 sees Quads added to both Battle Royale and Plunder, so teams of four can try to survive the battleground of Verdansk together. There will also be a new mode type in the form of Scopes and Scatter Guns, and the floor loot will be overhauled to include silenced and non-silenced weapons, and new blueprints will be added to supply boxes.

As for Modern Warfare, 3 brand new maps will be introduced. Talsik Backlot and Hovec Sawmill are recreations of previous Modern Warfare maps Backlot and Village respectively, while Aniyah Incursion is a 6v6 version of the 10v10/Ground War map Aniyah Palace. Season 3 also comes with two new weapons as part of the Battle Pass, which are the Renetti handgun and the SKS marksman rifle, along with new characters like Alex from the MW’s campaign.
