Burnout Paradise: Remastered Coming To PS4 & Xbox One On March 16th

Burnout Paradise Remastered

Holy shit, they actually did it. EA have announced that 2008’s Burnout Paradise will be getting the remaster treatment, and will be released on March 16th, which is no time at all. How will I possibly be able to clear my schedule in time?

Burnout Paradise: Remastered has been rumoured for a while now, earning the title of the worst kept secret in gaming, at least in recent memory. Even this release date announcement was leaked a few hours beforehand.

This ultimate version will include the full game, along with all the DLC packs that came out after release, including Big Surf Island, Cops and Robbers and more. It also comes complete with the standard graphical updates, improvements to resolution and support for 4K and 60fps for Xbox One X and PS4 Pro owners.

If you never got chance to play Burnout Paradise first time around, this is the perfect opportunity to correct that mistake. Despite being a decade old, Paradise offers a driving experience practically unmatched today. Don’t believe? Listen to me from a year ago tell you more.

Burnout Paradise: Remastered will launch on PS4 and Xbox One on March 16th for £34.99, which admittedly isn’t a great price for a remaster, but this isn’t an ordinary game. EA have also confirmed that the game will be launching on PC later this year through their Origin service, which also marks the first time that Big Surf Island will be available on PC, which is cool. Lastly, EA Access members will be able to play the game a week beforehand on March 9th, via the Play First trial.
