Bungie have announced that they will be showing off the next chapter of Destiny 2’s story on June 6th, two days after the Season of Opulence event begins. The announcement was revealed on Twitter, with the stream scheduled for 10am PT, 1pm ET, 6pm UK over on Twitch.

It’s clear that Bungie are preparing for Destiny 2’s third year of content, but whether that’ll take the form of a massive expansion like last year’s Forsaken, followed by an additional season of content, just another season, or something else entirely, is unclear right now.
As for the current set of content, the Season of Opulence kicks off on Tuesday June 4th, bringing with it the usual trappings of more loot, more challenges, along with a new six player activity called The Menagerie. What are you hoping for with Year 3 of Destiny 2? Sound off in the comments below.
