If you thought that Fortnite: Chapter 2 – Season 6 was a little quiet on the crossover front so far, how’s this for a collaboration: pop megastar Bruno Mars will be getting his own Icon emote in the game.
First hinted at when Mars and Fortnite followed each other on Instagram, the performer soon followed it up with a look at the dance itself with it being decrypted in the files soon after. Here’s what the Bruno Mars emote looks like in Fortnite.

Called Leave the Door Open, the emote seems to have been inspired by the recent song release of the same name that saw Mars collaborating with Anderson .Paak and Silk Sonic. Here’s everything you should know about the new Fortnite emote.
Fortnite Bruno Mars Emote Release Date
Based on the fact that it has already been showcased and spread around social media, the Bruno Mars emote is bound to hit the Fortnite Item Shop tonight, April 2nd. It will be likely be for sale for a good amount of time, at least a few days.
Fortnite Bruno Mars Emote Price
If previous dance emotes are anything to go by, Leave the Door Open will cost you around 500 V-Bucks, but it should be absolutely no more than that.
So, yet another collaboration for Fortnite, and one of the weirdest ones yet. Bruno Mars is one of the biggest musicians in the world so it makes fiscal sense, but this is a song about making mush, if you couldn’t tell by the Fortnite character’s very suggestive swaying.
Fortnite is very weird.
In other Fortnite news, Catwoman’s Claw Pickaxe is coming to the game as a freebie as part of another collaboration.
Fortnite is free-to-play on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Android.
