15 Best Modern WWE Entrance Themes

5.‭ ‬Brock Lesnar‭

A theme rarely heard is a special theme.‭ ‬Sword tattoo and German Suplex enthusiast Brock Lesnar has an entrance theme which marks an event,‭ ‬an event where you know someone’s going to come close to career suicide.‭

Brock’s theme can invoke trepidation,‭ ‬awe and all other kinds of emotions in one go.‭ ‬Even though not a lot has been updated since Day‭ ‬one‭ ‬of Brock’s career in WWE,‭ ‬including his somewhat generic theme,‭ ‬it still symbolises someone who’s a legit badass.‭

4.‭ ‬Sheamus‭ (‬and Cesaro‭)

Anything that dragged Cesaro away from that god-awful theme deserves a place on this list.‭ ‬Wee-wooing aside,‭ ‬this theme stands out as one of the best amongst current WWE superstars.‭ ‬Sheamus‭’ ‬heel incarnation needed a theme to make him into a tough,‭ ‬Irish bruiser and to make more of an impression than what the mohawk did.‭

Growing up listening to Dropkick Murphys,‭ ‬this was a gift to me hearing it on a weekly basis.‭ ‬Having similar fusions of Irish folk and metal-core,‭ ‬this theme ticks the right boxes and gets me excited for whenever Sheamus and Cesaro happen to be in a match.‭ ‬Still so glad they chose to use his instead of Cesaro’s for the bulk of their entrance.‭

3.‭ ‬SAnitY

Aside from Aleister Black’s aforementioned theme,‭ ‬this is probably the most heavy metal thing you’ll listen to on NXT.‭ ‬SAnitY channels their inner anarchy through this demonic shambles of bass,‭ ‬tom-toms and Braun Strowman’s laughter.‭ ‬I love it.‭

SAnitY needed to make their mark upon their debut,‭ ‬their entrance as a whole did just that.‭ ‬People have been intrigued in this act for weeks and even though it seems to be a perennial mid-card performance for now,‭ ‬I can see them and this theme working its way into the main event scene eventually.

2.‭ ‬Shinsuke Nakamura‭

Violins,‭ ‬lots and lots of violins.‭ ‬Shinsuke Nakamura is unlike any superstar WWE has seen before.‭ ‬He deserves no less than a fresh theme to match his natural charisma.‭ ‬This theme hooked people as soon as the lights first dimmed for his entrance at TakeOver:‭ ‬Dallas,‭ ‬and any time they can roll out their on-call Violinist to perform a live rendition,‭ ‬they’ll do just that,‭ ‬and it’s made even more awesome‭!

I’d put this amongst the greatest themes of all time.‭ I‬t has everything a superstar in the making requires to become a hit.‭ ‬The crowds love it and can jam along with it,‭ ‬bringing out the passion in entire arenas as well as Shinsuke himself.‭

Yea-OH‭!

1. Finn Balor

And to top off this list of audio porn is The Demon King’s absolute masterpiece of an entrance theme. What hasn’t been said about Balor’s theme?

It’s epic. Just listen.

Honourable Mentions

Here’s some love for a few other themes that didn’t quite make the list.‭ ‬Not that they didn’t deserve to be on there.‭ ‬Just that I guess the love isn’t there anymore.‭ ‬It’s not you,‭ ‬it’s me.‭

Bray Wyatt
Creepy backwoods drawl which makes no sense‭ ‬-‭ ‬catches you in a trance.‭

TJ Perkins‭ ‬
8-Bit is cool and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.‭

Baron Corbin
The only interesting thing about him is his theme.

Akira Tozawa‭
‬A fan of Kill Bill approves of this theme‭.

Tye Dillinger
‬See Sami Zayn.
