Here’s A First Look At Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point #2

Batman vs Everyone.

Ahead of its release this May, DC and Epic Games have shared an early glimpse at a few pages from Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point #2, the second issue in the upcoming collaboration.

While the pages don’t yet have any dialogue (or this may just be because the Island stops people from speaking), there’s still quite a lot gleam from them.

Batman can be seen in what looks like Weeping Woods, having just awoken in the same 22-minue loop. Based on the etchings on his suit, he has been trying to remind himself of important information every time before the loop is reset. He wanders around and tries to find co-ordinates in his new armour before being confronted by Ruckus.

Later, he fights Catwoman before the pair seemingly become friendly again, Catwoman looking like she’s regained some of her memories, or knows not to fight Batman after he shows her a note. Afterwards, they both meet Harley Quinn, who is running amok in Steamy Stacks and also flossing on people.

Is that blood in Fortnite?

Here’s the synopsis:

“Batman is trapped on a mysterious Island–unable to speak, his memory gone – fighting to survive against the deadliest warriors of countless worlds. But how will the World’s Greatest Detective escape this trap when time itself resets every twenty-two minutes? And if getting reintroduced to Harley Quinn over and over isn’t enough, will the presence of a familiar feline fatale–help or hinder his efforts to escape, especially when they don’t remember each other? In another life, they were enemies, friends, partners…but here on the Island, can they do anything but battle to the death?”

Those who purchase Zero Point #2 will also get access to the Batman Zero Wing Glider via a code to redeem for Fortnite. The limited series costs $4.99 for each issue with a free Fortnite cosmetic in each issue. Fans who collect and redeem all six codes from the six issues in Zero Point will get Zero Point Batman skins for free. Additionally, all copies of the first issue will also come with a code for a new Harley Quinn outfit.

Issue #1 will launch on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 and #2 will drop on May 4th. DC Universe Infinite subscribers will get the whole six-issue run of Zero Point included as part of their subscription.

Fortnite is free-to-play on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Android.
