Baldur’s Gate 3 has just received a generous update, the main draw of which is the inclusion of the new playable Druid Class. ‘Patch 4: Nature’s Power’ gives players the ability to make a druid character and use their animals- and nature-focused magic, such as using Wild Shape to turn into various animals and use their abilities, including speaking to animals which can allow you to negotiate and use diplomacy in different scenarios.

As in Baldur’s Gate’s source material of Dungeons and Dragons, Druids can access different subclasses that grant distinct benefits: the Circle of the Land subclass grants caster perks, while the Circle of the Moon offers more combat strength when using Wild Shape, and access to the Polar Bear shape.

What Else Is In The New Update?

Patch 4: Nature’s Power also includes a new option called Loaded Dice, which acts as a sort of easy mode to make dice rolling more forgiving and regular. The Speak With Dead ability is also now effective on more corpses, giving players access to new interactions and cinematics. There have also been tweaks to lighting and animation overall.
