Astaroth and Seong Mi-Na Confirmed For Soulcalibur VI

Soulcalibur VI

During this weekend’s EVO 2018, a new trailer dropped for the upcoming Soulcalibur VI, revealed two fan favourite characters, Astaroth and Seong Mi-Na, who will be part of the main roster when the game launches on October 19th for PS4, Xbox One and PC.

The new trailer also showcased gameplay for the two characters, and it seems like Astaroth in particular has been given somewhat of a rework. At the very least, the trailer seemed to focus more on his grappling abilities rather than the massive axe he carries around. Meanwhile, Seong Mi-Na is doing a good job of not being a female Kilik. Look, her staff has a blade at the end of it. Totally different.

After Astaroth and Seong Mi-Na, the Soulcalibur VI roster is burgeoning with fan favourite characters, but there are still some notable omissions at the moment; Cervantes and Lizardman being two big examples. With just over two months until the game launches, there’s still plenty of time for Bandai Namco to reveal more characters. Personally, we wouldn’t say no to Yun-Seong or Dampierre.
