Apex Legends To Receive 2 Physical Editions Next Month

Those skins look pretty sweet.

Apex Legends

Similar to Fortnite’s various retail options, Apex Legends is now bundling together some exclusive in-game items and currency into two retail only editions of the game: the Bloodhound Edition and the Lifeline Edition. Each edition contains a unique Legendary Skin for either character, a Legendary Weapon Skin, a banner, badge and 1000 Apex Coins. Check out the skins below.

The physical editions, which will be available on PS4, Xbox One and PC, will launch on October 18th for $20. There’s no word yet on whether or not these editions will make their way into retail stores across the world, but EA do like money after all, so I wouldn’t be surprised to see both editions on UK shop shelves next month.

Apex Legends has been having a rough time of it as of late, causing controversy for how its recent Iron Crown limited time event pushed aggressive monetisation practices. Considering that the combined price of 1000 Apex Coins and a character’s Legendary Skin is more than $20, this retail edition isn’t a bad deal after all. Either way, you can jump into the Voidwalker event that’s live right now.  Which version, if any, will you be purchasing? Let us know in the comments.
