Apex Legends players will now be able to step into the void with the Voidwalker event, the second themed update in Season 2 that brings changes to the map and an LTM.
With the prior event focusing on Octane, the newest town takeover belongs to Wraith, who will be taking over a part of the map for a secret underground facility, which appears to be the exact same one seen in her Stories from the Outlands video.
To access the secret area, there is a portal above the The Cage that you can descend into with there also being a portal inside that you can jump in to get back out, at which point you will start skydiving again.
Along with the new map, players can also look forward to an LTM called Armed and Dangerous, which features only shotgun and snipers and far fewer resources than usual.
On the cosmetic side of things, the Voidwalker skin and other cosmetics will be purchasable and are showcased in the trailer for the event below.
In addition to all this, the game will have a bonus XP weekend from September 5th to September 8th with the Voidwalker event concluding on September 17th.
