Apex Legends is arguably in its best spot ever, with so many people playing the game on PC following its release on Steam that it’s basically had a second life. A lot of that comes down to the charms of the game’s Legends, so it’s a good move that Prime Gaming and Apex Legends are teaming up to release the Adrenaline Affliction skin for Octane for free.

Octane, a character added during Season 1, is a speed junkie who blew off his legs and uses a Launch Pad as his Ultimate. He’s a fan favourite, so it makes sense that he is the latest crossover with Prime Gaming.

Here’s how you can get the Adrenaline Affliction skin in Apex Legends.

How To Sign Up For Prime Gaming

You can sign up for Prime Gaming here. It’s a monthly subscription service that- M gives Twitch users access to free loot for games, as well as access to a tonne of free games.

Prime Gaming is also included with Amazon Prime, which costs $119/£79 a year, or $12.99/£7.99 a month.

How To Connect Apex Legends To Prime Gaming

Luckily, it’s not too hard to connect Apex Legends to Prime Gaming:

– First off, make sure you claim your loot from the Apex Legends Prime page, making sure you’re signed in.
– Log in to your EA account to start linking. You should already have one of these from playing Apex.
– Authorise EA’s request to use your Prime account, then accept requests from both EA and Prime Gaming to link them together.
– If all goes well, both your accounts will be linked and you will also be able to claim the Adrenaline Affliction skin.

Don’t forget that you also need to unlock Octane as a Legend. He costs 12,000 Legend Tokens or 750 Apex Coins to buy in-game, or comes bundled with the Champion Edition.

Apex Legends is available now for PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch.
