To celebrate the launch of Season 7, which also brings the game to Steam, EA and Respawn have released Apex Legends: Champion Edition as a bundle for the gigantic battle royale experience.
While Apex Legends is a free-to-play game, its Champion Edition comes with all characters to date unlocked as well as a host of exclusive cosmetics. Setting you back £34.99/$39.99, it’s a tempting offer for those who don’t want to grind as much, but is it actually worth the asking price?

Is Apex Legends: Champion Edition Worth The Price?
It boils down to one major question: are you a new player or not? If you’ve never played Apex before, the Champion Edition offers massive savings on characters and cosmetics, but is otherwise a harder sell for seasoned players, unless they really like the cosmetics.
If you were to buy everything included in the Champion Edition and then add it all up, its overall worth would be roughly twice as much as the asking price for the bundle. This includes the price of using Apex Coins to buy the new Legends, though these can still be unlocked naturally.
Speaking of Apex Coins, 1,000 Apex Coins on their own would normally cost $10. Legendary Character Skins typically cost 2000 Apex Coins, or $20. Considering that the three Legendary skins in the bundle alone would normally come out to roughly $60, there are some big savings to be had through the Champion Edition.

Apex Legends: Champion Edition can be bought from all respective digital storefronts depending on the platform, though EA will also be selling a physical, code in a box edition at retail in time for Christmas.
